The Guardian RS series of products from Taylors Windows® provides as much as double the U&R value of other high-performance, low-energy glass. U&R value is the measure of how much energy is conducted or resisted by a home product, with a low U value and a high R value being desirable.
As energy prices soar, low energy glass has become a more popular choice for homes at all price levels. To date in South Carolina, however, customers have been able to buy this glass only in heavier, expensive triple-glazed glass units. Taylors Windows®’ new capabilities offer the same energy performance, with less weight per unit and lower cost.
