Our History

Mark Nichols purchased Taylors Window & Screen, Inc. (TWS) in 1992. The original shop was located on Main Street in Taylors, South Carolina. The small storm window and screen repair shop had been in business for over 30 years prior to our purchase. Over the years, TWS has experienced steady growth resulting in several moves around the Taylors and Greenville area. In 2017, we moved to our new faciilty at 401 Furman Hall Road in Greenville, with 75,000 square feet of prime manufacturing space and a showroom.

Our original product lines were screen manufacturing and repair, aluminum storm windows, and insulated glass. We also were contracted by various well-known manufactures to repair their warranty work and that helped us to become knowledgeable in what not to do in our manufacturing. In 1994, we developed (along with our vinyl vendor) a vinyl mechanical window line – one of our most popular products to date. In 1997, we began manufacturing a fully welded window program to offer a full line of choice.

Taylors has enjoyed consistent growth in the upstate area, becoming the largest and most used window manufacturer and contractor in the area. Our company’s growth is due to our relentless desire to offer high quality windows and doors at a competitive price. Our diligence towards customer service and referral business has kept our pricing at low levels.

Mark Nichols, President of Taylor Window and Screen Inc., has over 20 years experience in the construction industry – all in the area of residential construction and remodeling. He started his career with over 9 years as a contractor consultant for Lowes Companies Inc.; 2 years representing Hutting Millwork and Manufacturers; and 12 years as a residential builder. He continues to be a hands-on leader with direct contact with all aspects of the business from the actual manufacturing and daily operations to sales. His biggest commitment is to have the company become a sole referral driven business.

Taylors Window & Screen, Inc. is a leader in the marketplace because we provide our customers the utmost in quality, innovation and protection. Our warranties are strong and printed. We have staff dedicated to any warranty work or emergency work that may arise.
