Taylors Window & Screen, a South Carolina-based window manufacturer, has recently expanded their social media presence in order to better serve their customers across the state.
"Social media is all about connecting with our customers where they’re already spending time," says Angela Jackson, the Manager of Customer Service and Marketing at Taylors. "Whether it’s highlighting energy efficiency, money-saving tips, spreading the word about local events, or generating feedback about our products, we want to have continual communication with our customers. And this is not only a one-way conversation. We need real communication on both ends because that’s how real relationships are built."
For instance, Jackson has found that customers like to use Facebook to request a service for window needs or to comment on photos from recent home projects and installations. Hearing from customers on these social media gives Taylors an opportunity to respond immediately and publicly, something that helps not only the one customer but others who may happen to read the online conversation.
In addition, Taylors Window & Screen will soon have videos on YouTube to give customers helpful “how-to” advice on choosing, replacing and maintaining their windows, doors, sunrooms and siding. Videos also give a better view on project results and the expertise of Taylors team members.
